I am a Labour Economist whose research is centered on the occupational choices of teachers, ethnic minorities, and gang members. In my job market paper I examine the impact of scholarships on the selection and retention of trainee teachers in the context of a ‘teaching recruitment crisis’ in the UK. I am also affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance.
